The biennial "Ben McKlveen Memorial Tuning Seminar" was held at Piano Pros on Saturday, April 22, 2023 by the Cincinnati Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild as part of the 'Continuing Education Program for Piano Technicians' of the national organization. Fourteen seasoned and aspiring tuner/technicians participated in the day-long seminar, consisting of several demonstrations and technical tutoring sessions.
The seminar is held every other year and is in memory of the late Ben McKlveen (1922-2014) a noted "Golden-Hammer" award recipient, well-respected and loved renowned musician, piano technician and founding member of the chapter.
